Meet Cambridge Strengthens Board With New Appointment

The official conference and meetings bureau for Cambridge and the surrounding area has welcomed a new member to its Board.

The Cambridge Venue Company Limited, which trades as Meet Cambridge, has announced the appointment of Fiona Simon, Director of Conference and Catering at Trinity Hall, who joins the existing team of highly-experienced professionals.

Fiona brings nearly three decades of international experience in event management and operations, for the last eight in a director-level role at Trinity Hall where she is responsible for overseeing both internal and external event operations delivering an excellent standard of service which exceeds expectations.

Prior to her current role, Fiona spent 20 years in the global events industry, managing large-scale, high-profile events across various sectors, including finance, law, government and the United Nations. She has demonstrated skill in engaging and managing senior stakeholders, including royalty, Heads of State, Heads of Government and business leaders at events in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

Fiona joins existing Board members Rebecca Barnes, Events & Hospitality Manager at St John’s College, Martin Spooner, Director of College Services at Christ’s College and Rob Preston, Domestic Bursar at St Edmund’s College.
