From very early days ABPCO was keen to establish educational and training programmes. Training days were held for members and their staff. Seminars were organised for members and other PCO companies. The range of subjects was wide and here are just some of them:

- Safety, security and crisis management for the conference organiser

Seminars have also been held in conjunction with Confer and later Confex and CAT Publications.
For a number of years ABPCO invited specialist speakers to give a talk at the end of the business meetings. These were invaluable in keeping members up to date with current legislation. Talks included:

- Professional indemnity
- Data protection
- Banking
- Developments in Printing
- Social networking
