ABPCO Recruits it’s 50th Member

ABPCO celebrates reaching a half century membership, having grown from less than 20 in the year 2000. David Campbell, MD of Banks Sadler Ltd and a past chairman of ABPCO commented; “this is quite an achievement, especially as we have maintained fairly stiff criteria for entry to ensure that membership does confer real professional credibility. When I joined there were about 12 full members”
By December this year the growth was continuing and there were 56 members (38 Full & 18 Associate) with full membership rates at £305 + vat (full year) and £105 for Associate membership. Commenting on this membership growth, Peter Mainprice, Chair of ABPCO said “ABPCO continues to attract a wide range of professional event and conference organisers into membership. The growth has given ABPCO greater ‘clout’ when contributing to the development of the business tourism sector. It also means that, when clients outsource their events to a PCO who is a member, they can be assured for finding a firm with high professional standards for any type of event”
