Academic Venue Solutions signs up four regional academic venues

Academic Venue Solutions (AVS) continues its surge of academic venues seeking membership to the only consortium in the UK dedicated to the academic sector, giving it a voice within the competitive conference and events business.

Rachael Bartlett, Sales and Membership Director of AVS on this latest collection commented: “AVS are thrilled to welcome yet more new members particularly on the back of a global pandemic. Throughout the past 20 months AVS as seen the community spirit of membership really shine through. Members have collaborated, come up with new ideas, reskilled to help their institutions and referred business to one and other - when some member venues remained closed.”

New regional members include University of Brighton, Conference Oxford, Nottingham Conferences and University of Winchester. The latest members are located in key conference cities and provide exceptional facilities for conference and event planners.

On joining the consortium, Carrie Quantick, Marketing Executive at Nottingham Conferences said: “Nottingham Conferences are delighted to be joining Academic Venue Solutions as a member venue. It was especially important to everyone we join a consortium who know and understand the academic venue world and it is clear Academic Venue Solutions are highly skilled in this arena.

AVS has seen eight new members join the consortium over the summer, widening the coverage event further and enhances the profile of academic venues within the lucrative conference and event sector.
