ABPCO Roundtable on Sustainable Carpet Solutions for Conferences and Exhibitions

We’re excited to invite you to an engaging and insightful panel discussion hosted by ABPCO, focusing on a topic that is becoming increasingly important for event planners, exhibitors, and sustainability advocates: The Use of Temporary Carpet for Conferences and Exhibitions.

As we continue to work towards more sustainable event practices, the conversation around temporary flooring solutions, including carpet, is essential. This roundtable will explore:

  • The Benefits and Challenges of Temporary Carpet: Why is it still a go-to choice for conferences and exhibitions?
  • Recycling Opportunities: How can carpet be effectively recycled after events, and what happens to it post-event?
  • Sustainable Flooring Alternatives: What are the eco-friendly options available, and how can they be integrated into events?
  • Circular Economy Principles: How can we adopt a circular approach to flooring, reducing waste and maximizing resources?
  • Unexpected Pitfalls: What are the risks of choosing no carpet at all for your event, and how can you avoid them?

This event offers a unique opportunity to learn from industry leaders, share best practices, and learn about the latest developments in sustainable event solutions.  The panel includes representatives from GES, Mash Media, Fitwise Management Ltd and Carpet Recycling UK, and will be chaired by Alistair Turner of EightPR.
