ABPCO are delighted to invite you to an exclusive in-person session on Strategic Networking, designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to navigate any networking scenario with ease and success.

Event details:

Time: 10.30am - 3pm

Location: Nottingham Venues - The Jubilee Hotel and Conference Centre

Our guest speaker Fiona Duncan-Steer will share valuable tips and techniques on how you can maximise your opportunities at networking events and beyond, by developing your communication skills through creative conversation and purpose filled strategy, with a focus on mindset, etiquette and conversation, with a few of her golden nuggets thrown in to ensure that you are not only the best version of yourself when representing your organisation, but that you also leave a lasting impression, enjoy the experience and have the confidence to work the room like a pro!

During this comprehensive session, you will gain valuable insights and practical techniques, including:

1. Confidence and Mindset:  Cultivate the right attitude and self-assurance to make lasting impressions

2. Understanding the networking journey:  Learn the stages of effective networking and how to navigate them.

3. Practical preparation techniques: Utilise social media to enhance your networking strategy before the event.

4.  Work the room like a pro: Master the art of engaing with multiple people seamlessly.

5. Networking etiquette - the Do's and Don'ts: Undertand the key rules to maintain professionalism and respect.

6. Conversation starters and exit strategies: Discover ways to initiate and gracefully exit conversations.

7. Creative conversation, body language, and the power of the handshake:  Enhance your interactions with impactful communication techniques.

8. How to spot a liar:  learn subtle cues to identify dishonesty.

9. Hacks on how to never forget someone's name: Memorisation techniques to ensure you always remember names.

Join us for a day of interactive learning and networking that promises to elevate your professional connections and personal growth.

Our PCO community are also invited to attend the Party by the Lake on the evening prior (11th September) from 6.30pm - a great evening of entertainment and food with a complimentary overnight stay.  We can also arrange for hot desk space for any members who would like to work from the venue on both days.
