‘Toughening up our soft skills for success’: An introduction to the use and impact of the Reflective Goal Setting Model
If you have ever wanted to:
- Say no when others put pressure on you to do something you didn’t want to do Feel less stressed
- Become more confident
- Stop comparing yourself to others
- Think more positive thoughts
- Create a more professional impression
- Influence others to do what you want
- Be a genuinely better leader
- Handle conflict more effectively
- Engage with others more empathically etc
- Improve your relationships
Then Reflective Goal Setting could help you turn those desires into achievable goals. Reflective Goal Setting is a theory-driven, practical five-stage approach for enhancing self-awareness and the ideation, development, and implementation of personal development goals underpinned by on-going written reflection on goal activity. Reflective Goal Setting is about behaviour, attitude, and psychological change, and has been used by a multitude of managers and leaders over the last 21 years. This session will introduce you to the framework and show you how to toughen up the hardest skills of all, those that are supposedly ‘soft’ in nature.
This session was run on-site at Imago Venues Burleigh Court.
