I joined Bioscientifica in 2006 as an Events Organiser, working with multiple Society and pharmaceutical company partners, developing expertise in financial planning, crisis communications and strategic development of events. I held the Deputy Managing Director position from 2017 to 2022, embracing the challenge of delivering an ambitious business plan across the PCO (now including DCO), AMS and Publishing divisions. My role has recently been broadened to include responsibility for business systems across the charitable association (our parent company) and the commercial agency, resulting in a change in title to Enterprise Director for the SfE Group.

As a specialist associations professional, my greatest strength is in association event management, event budget setting and delivery, event crisis management (thank you Icelandic Volcano 2010) and events strategy and role within biomedical associations' education and marketing portfolios. More recently in my leadership role I have been heavily involved with change management across my organisation.
