Role & Skill Areas

At UWS we teach and research a range of subjects including event operations, event management, experience design, risk management, sponsorship and resourcing, people management, the social value of events, tourism and transport, cultural heritage, business event, destination branding and management amongst others. In addition to our core teaching team, we also have a dedicated research Centre for Culture, Sport and Events which is part funded by Renfrewshire Council as part of their cultural regeneration strategy.
