Personal Statement
Kubify’s Learning Toolbox is an award-winning ePoster platform that is being used by conferences and in education. I am one of the Co-founders of Kubify, which was set up in 2018. We had been researchers ourselves (in learning technology) and, based on our experiences, we set up the company to provide a better way for researchers to present and share their work at conferences and beyond.
Role & Skill Areas
We are a small company but we work worldwide. I lead on engagement and education, which includes building strong client and partner relationships, designing and delivering training and support and leading co-design activities to improve the platform. I'm based in West Yorkshire - a beautiful and lively part of the country. I strongly recommend visiting Bradford in 2025, it will be the Capital of Culture.
Prior to setting up Kubify, I had worked in university research and project management for 20 years. As such, I've got skills in educational technology, stakeholder and partner engagement, project management, qualitative research and education & training. I've used and further developed all of these skills since moving to work in the events sector.
Experience
We don't just providing the technology (ePoster) platform for conferences. We also work with clients to help shape how the technology is used, support their authors/speakers and also facilitate activities onsite. I very much enjoy meeting and working with the people who use our platform and we adopt a co-design approach where-ever possible when making developments to the platform. I am looking forward to learning from my discussions with other ABPCO members as well.
