Personal Statement

I am an experienced and motivated event manager and team leader with a proven track record for managing complex projects from inception to completion. Strong communicator who thrives working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, with exceptional attention to detail; an ability to build and develop effective relationships with key partners on large projects.

Working in the not for profit, membership and association market, I am experienced in developing and delivering educational programmes, conferences and events, both face to face and virtually.

I am values driven and motivated by life long learning and supporting others to grow and achieve, through coaching and mentoring.

Role & Skill Areas

• Development and delivery of insight-led events that meet identified audience needs, including educational conferences, supporter and beneficiary events, and mass engagement, income-generating events. • Building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to create new and develop existing event products. • Forming and maintaining collaborative working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, senior leadership, health professionals, celebrities, donors, corporates, politicians, trustees, stroke survivors and their relatives, to support delivery of identified objectives. • Development of strategic evaluation frameworks, evaluating events based on ROI and other strategic criteria; responsible for providing data and narrative analysis of all events to measure event outcomes. • Manage large operational budgets, regularly reporting to key stakeholders. • Appointing and managing external suppliers including venues, exhibition builders, app and streaming providers and PCOs. • Delivering income generating conferences and working closely with colleagues to achieve sponsorship and exhibition delivery and financial targets.
