Personal Statement

I am the Events Manager for the Property Care Association (PCA), who is the leading representative organisation for the UK’s building preservation industry. The PCA's skilled and audited membership operates across domestic, commercial and civil sectors in the structural repair, structural waterproofing, timber preservation, damp protection, flood remediation, ground gas and invasive weed control industries.

Role & Skill Areas

As Events Manager I am responsible for organising all of the PCA's events, both internally and externally. This includes three annual conferences, one Best Practice Awards Dinner, multiple regional meetings throughout the UK, board meetings, sector meetings and social events for the PCA team.

I am an excellent communicator with strong proofreading and copywriting skills. I have held marketing/internal comms positions within retail, travel, manufacturing and print industries and have built a proficient skillset with website packages such as Word press and River, Photoshop and Canva. I am a strong people person and have organised many events in my career, from small team meetings and socials to large corporate events, including corporate hospitality (golf tournaments and Ladies Day at Ascot etc). My current role covers all of this, with the addition of conferences and awards rather than hospitality. This is building my skill set even further.
